teaching with purpose, leading with faith, and
finding true peace in Christ...

the tension in leading

leading in any space—whether it’s a school, a church, or your own home—comes with pressure. burnout, chaos, and overwhelming demands can feel like the norm. we’ve been taught that working harder, taking control, or chasing quick fixes will finally bring peace. but Jesus offers us a different way—an upside-down way—where peace isn’t something we earn, but something we receive through surrender, trust, and wholeness in Him

Jesus says peace comes from:

surrender

trust

wholeness

true shalom

Philippians 4:6-7 says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

what Jesus says

true peace—*shalom, shalom*—is not found in our striving, perfection, or control, but in Christ alone. when we step away from our broken patterns and surrender to Him, we enter into His perfected peace.

”Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful." Colossians 3:15

→ This verse emphasizes that peace is a calling for the entire body of Christ. When we allow His peace to govern our hearts, it fosters unity, gratitude, and harmony within the community of believers.

community

contentment

"Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all." Thessalonians 3:16

→ This verse reassures us that God Himself is the source of true peace, sustaining us in every situation and teaching us contentment in Him.

completeness

"You keep him in perfect peace (shalom, shalom) whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in You."  Isaiah 26:3

this verse speaks of the complete and unshakable peace that comes from trusting in God, reflecting His desire for our wholeness in Him.

the Word defines peace in three layers

  • "You keep him in perfect peace (shalom, shalom) whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in You."  Isaiah 26:3

this verse speaks of the complete and unshakable peace that comes from trusting in God, reflecting His desire for our wholeness in Him.

  • "Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all." Thessalonians 3:16

  • ”Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful." Colossians 3:15

→ This verse emphasizes that peace is a calling for the entire body of Christ. When we allow His peace to govern our hearts, it fosters unity, gratitude, and harmony within the community of believers.
